1.Tell us something about you and your startup?

Pyplyn was incorporated in August 2016. We, the founders, Anurag Agrawal and Soham Basak carry substantial experience in the field of Digital Marketing and Technology respectively, apart from being college friends. After having worked in the corporate world for close to 6 years, we felt the need to help businesses build an online identity. This segment is very crowded and unorganized. Hence Pyplyn, was formed with intention of addressing all the digital needs of a business under one roof. We believe everything can be sold as long as we are telling the correct story for selling it.

2. What was your motivation behind venturing into this?

In today’s world of globalization, businesses usually look for ways to market their products or services. The conventional way (i.e., offline marketing) is more time consuming and in certain cases expensive. India being the second largest populated country in the world, there are plenty of opportunities for entrepreneurs to thrive and cater to the needs of the population. We at Pyplyn wanted to cater to the needs of the entrepreneurs to help target the right audience using various digital marketing strategies.

3.Give us a brief background about founders and its core team members?


Anurag is our online market Specialist and a Brand Establishment Expert. He is sort of a Creative wizard and also our Social Media Expert. He owns more than 5 years of Experience in Digital Marketing. He was also a part of Ex-Tesco Online presence team.

Soham is an open source solutions architect and a Growth Hacker. He is a lean Methodologies Champion of our team. Soham has gained experience of more than 6 years in companies like TCS and Accenture. Also an Ex-CTO (Referral Recruitment job portal)


4. Who do you see as competition and how is your startup different?

Every startup has its own unique style of catering to its clients/customers. We believe the model followed in Pyplyn is Niche and with our proven track record, competition is something we look forward to. Each employee working on the projects in Pyplyn is Google Certified and the clients can be rest assured that the work delivered is on par the best in the industry. The best part of it all is that the cost for these projects is 1/10th of the cost that is normally charged in top MNC digital marketing firms.

5.What are the revenues and margins like in your industry?

The margins are quite skewed in this industry and totally depends on the scale of projects from the clients.  Approximately 30% are charged in development projects, 10% to 15% in Branding and 40% to 50% in Digital Marketing.

6.What are your future plans?

We are planning to scale up our company in a best way. De-cluttering design and to be that one company who can solve all kinds of marketing needs. The future looks bright to us.

7. Any advice you want to give budding entrepreneurs.

Success may be elusive but it’s Definite. Never stop trying and never think about quitting. Work hard and your success will come to your doorsteps.
